A bit sore

The start of the New Year kicked off the beginning on my base training as I prepare for my races this year. Last night I sat in on spin class. Needless to say it's been awhile since I've been on a bike. The class also included some core exercises as well as push-ups and wall squats. The very cute instructor really pushed us hard throughout the class. It was great to finish such a hard workout. Today I'm dealing with the after effects of the class. My upper body is not very happy, stupid push-ups, but my lower body is doing ok. I'll credit that to the running and swimming that I've been doing during the off-season.

So the first hard workout of 2006 is in the bag. Only a few hundred more to go...
